About the Author
J. E. Holder spent twenty years recruiting storytellers and creative talent at organizations like Warner Bros. and the Wikimedia Foundation.
Now he’s writing his own story.
He grew up chasing creativity through music: trumpet, French horn, including being in an award-winning marching band - before a vocal performance major and a sociology degree laid the groundwork for what came next. He’s drawn to stories with their own rhythm, ones that take you to real places more extraordinary than they appear.
His debut novel is a YA fantasy rich in lore, teenage angst, and the price of transformation…where the ground beneath our feet holds more secrets than we thought.
He splits his time between Texas and Colorado, living with his husband and two dogs, who anxiously watch as his office transforms into a geology experiment.
